what is the 'national' ?

I am new to biking and I haven't a clue what 'the national' actually is.
Is it just for riders from the xrv community ? What do you get up to ?

Hi Pete ,the National Is the XRV annual meet up. Taking place this year in Scotland and in fact this coming weekend. It's a fair old stretch for many,but always worth the effort. You would be more than welcomed as a new member for sure Have a look in the calendar section for details.

The National is a meeting of forum members where they can have a few gallons of beer and a couple of group ride outs. These usually take place to allow the pub time to restock.

Don't think you can't just turn up and have a laugh, the first time i met a lot of these loonies was the first The Longest Day charity run and trust me you are welcomed as if you have been going for years.

Get yourelf there you won't regret it.

Just keep checking the calendar, theres always a meet going on somewhere, in fact theres a load of us meeting a week on Sunday at the ace for the cheque presentation of our charity ride.
