well that makes two of us,riding across the camp site field is about as off road as I get, the thought of me crying over a bent GS leaves me a gibbering wreck

us against the world then ian, although i think there will be plenty of us and a lot of choices of riding to suit everyone.

No reason why the rideouts have to be Saturday only, i'm more than happy to take folk on the Friday as well as the Saturday so you can do different rides.

Me and the brothers from the South East chapter will be there Thursday, so we can sit down and have a good old moan, put the world to rights and get it out of your system before everyone gets there

LOL..no problem mark, my route is not off road but is really in the inner-roads and tracks of the area.. all tarmac (but maybe some of it cracked)

if we get the right conditions, some of the views are brilliant. theres a couple of fords one in particular where you ride into the stream then around a short corner(very slippery as lots of algea between your tyres and the ground but a very nice splash-through).

The spare fuel can is already on the bike, don't want to run out on those lonely moors

So have i, in fact i just bought two 2l fuel bottle holders so need another bottle, oh and some straps, oh and somewhere to mount them... not thought this through have i?

Cheers Mark, but, i have no idea which one of them if for the bottles and besides, there a fortune just coz they have TT on em, i'll buy the cheap ones and cut them to size
