from Turkey to Nat meet 2010

Hi Everybody,

I will be in London between 4th-11th September and I want to come meeting for the day. Can anyone help me about how can I get there? (my bike will be here so I need alternative ways bus,train etc.) London-Rosedale .... km ? Also I need google maps link of the meeting. Do I need to know anything else?

You are going to really struggle to get buses and trains to Rosedale from London, it's too remote.

You are looking at about 500km (depending on where you are in London ofcourse, it's a big old place)

If you could make it from the Friday to Sunday i'm sure there are lots coming from the South who you could travel up with then go back.

I have to fly to Turkey on sunday, and also being pillion is really hard for me
I will check bus alternatives...

I didn't mean as pillion, i meant you could ride up on your bike, but if you have to fly out on sunday that wouldn't be possible.

It seems a very long way to go and come back in 1 day?

My bike will be in Turkey, maybe I will rent a bike or car...

Again my wires were crossed, i thought you meant your bike would be in London.

If you are determined to use public transport then i would suggest calling Traveline for advice on 0871 200 22 23.

I think thats the way i'd go... When you take into account how much it will add up to for trains and busses etc it'd be easier to rent a bike.
