Wanted, Honda XR650L.

The later the better. A Red version for sure.
Ive had the XR650R and i just dont do it justice to be honest. Great bikes but to much for what i want. I want a more sedate trailie for plodding and doing the odd green lanes etc. Ive got my DRZ400 for the more muddy stuff.
So, there you go. Anyone got a Honda XR650L for sale?

Mine is still available (you asked price last time you posted a wanted ad.
It is red from 2002 with only 1500 miles on it. It is in as new condition and just got MOT 2 weeks ago.
Although I was hoping for 2800-3000 I am willing to consider a lower offer as I simply do not use it. It is a pitty that such a great machine sits in the garage.

Wish i could do it mate but now ive got a son, no money and i'd either have to sell my DRZ or XR650R to buy it unless you fancy a swap (DRZ is a 2003 model, 650r is a 2002 model).

Hi Rob, I've a 1994 XR650L in very good order, imported from the states buy a bike jurno (can't remember his name, Doh!) Lots of bits n bobs for her, she's only done about 14000miles, I'd have to check, acerbis 22 ltr spare tank, super rear shock, that's as good as my KTM 525, spare brand new down pipes, rental bars etc etc, just had her mot'd, I paid £1400 for her, don't really want to get rid of her but I've 6 bikes at the moment and I need to down size, I'm not looking to make a profit just break even, PM if interested

If you were closer I would buy it. This great bike never was offered over here, and that is a real shame.
Maybe I should start checking what is involved in the affair of importing a bike from UK again; I did it in 1996 when I bought a Moto Guzzi Daytona from "On Year Bike"
(I seem to remember that that was the way they spelled the name).
