    AT on eBay

    Hello @ers

Following a very hairy, and uninsured, coming-together with Merc minibus in Morocco, I am firstly delighted to confirm that I am still able to walk the planet unaided. The bike however fared less well than I, and thus my once immaculate AT is now up on Ebay, for spares or repair.

I'd be delighted if you would take a moment or two to peruse the item (eBay ID: 120242252571) and hopefully I may recoup at least some of my losses.

    Cheers. Tell your friends

    Sir Royston of Feckem Hall

Many thanks for the query. Go into ebay and paste the number into the search box. I just tried it again and it does work - I'd have been slightly embarrased if it hadn't!

    Cheers again

    Hi Sir Royston,

Your number does not work, you seem to be missing the '1' from the front of the number. Just edit your post and add the '1'

Found it, looks like it needs a new front end incl plastics would that sum the damage up?

Aye - it was 3 months ago and I'm still suffering a bit, but when I look at the remains of the front forks I'm very, very, lucky to have crawled away from it. So, happy days are here again!

The bike was indeed an absolute minter, so it's a bit of a tragedy really, and has cost me a few quid. Still, as above, I'm still here

    Cheers

Yeh indeed, at least your still here, we can always buy new parts or a new bike. We don't always realise or appreciate how lucky we are when we have an off....

    Re: AT on eBay

    Sir Royston,

Very glad to hear that you escaped ok! I had a similar big front ender in South America (also uninsured) which needed a complete front end which luckily was secured second hand and shipped over so I could continue. Looking at your pictures - particularly the damaged stock, it does take me back. Is the frame pushed back a bit?

If anyone out there is thinking about going for this one for parts but maybe does not want everything off it then I might come in on it. I need an engine! Well gearbox actually and if there is anything else that is better than I have right now (even damaged bits) then that'll do nicely.

    Matt
