    Honda Swap

I have been looking for a nice AT for 2 up touring

I may PX my Honda XR400R For a nice AT.

I bought my XR400R new from Cass Honda in September 2006

The bike as a full detailed service History, and as been serviced every 1000 mile's

The bike is in perfect working condition, and is very easy to start hot or cold.

I have at the moment fitted to the bike.

    Acerbis 22lt Tank..gives me 440km range
    Acerbis frame guards
    KTM hand guards
    Head light protector
    Quick release Touring screen
    Alloy off set Bar risers
    Renthol Bar's
    Stainless rear rack
Full size alloy engine and sum guard
    Vor -Tip exhaust tip
New clutch cable along side the one in use.
    New Spark plug
    2 new oil fillters
    air fillter
    Pair of leaver's

I also have with the bike the standered 9lt tank which as never been used
a extra set of wheels, fitted with sprocket, and brake disc's.these wheels are fitted with new off road tyre's.
I also have a yellow set of side pannels.

The bike had a big service last week, and at this time I dicided to fit new.
brake pads front and rear, new head stock bearings, packed with high melting point grease.engine oil and oil fillter, new air fillter, spark plug.
    Fork oil replaced.Tappets reset.
Rear linkage stripped checked and replaced and repacked with high melting point grease.

The bike runs perfect and I would not have a doubts about riding her anywhere.

Here are some photos showing how she has been used.

the first photo is how the bike looks now.

    Re: Honda Swap

I bet you wont want to swap it for my heavy AT on the slippery trails i have got planned for us tomorrow morning!

Seriously though, its a cracking bike and i would buy it off you if i had the spare cash. Only problem is the wife wants a nice holiday, kitchen extension, better car.......etc so she would do her nut of got another bike.

Can't you hold onto it and save up for an AT to keep it company?

No Mud Tomorrow please,It took me ages to get the bike that clean

Im having a few beer's and a take away to build up my carb's ready for tomorrow

I may even have a very large Bacon sarnie from the cafe before I leave

If I promise not to ride off ,can I have a sit on your AT ,just to see if I can be tempted to Move on to one

Of course! It will be like jumping off a young bull and then mounting a hippo!
