WANTED - KTM Top Box (to BUY or LOAN)

Just wondering if any of the minority KTM Adventure riders on here who own one of those grey Hepco & Becker top cases would like to sell or loan one to me for a short trip I'm doing at the end of May. (about 12 days in total). Lots of beer tokens for any one interested in loaning

I've got one that's not doing much at the moment that you could borrow...if you promise to look after its sticker collection!

Well bugger me with a fish fork!! (apologies ... to much Black Adder in my youth ) That was a super fast response to a question I didnt expect replies too

Well if you're absolutely sure you wont be requiring the particular itm in question then I'd be chuffed as nuts & you would be saving me loads a money I'm now takin the Mrs on this trip and there is nowhere to out her makeup/hairbrush(s) and, well ... I dont exactly travel light either

I placed an order for one with my KTM dealer today. Think it was around £189 for the box, £40 for the bracket and I had also ordered a back rest for the Mrs comfort. I'd obviously still need to get a specific bracket I assume? And obviously I wouldnt be drilling in backrests etc... so no worries there

I never have use for one of these so would have had to Ebay it on return anyway.

I could collect from you or if you're a million miles away then parcel force or similar may suffice?? Obviously I'll sort all the postage costs etc.. My trip is now a bit later and will be leaving about the 23rd May, back on the 3rd June.

No worries dude, I'd guess though that a Hepco and Becker Gobi box will fit on any H&B Gobi frame, so if you've got one on order or already on the bike it should just clunk-click right on there.

I wont be needing it until 6th June really, and perhaps not at all even then so we should be cool on that front if you First Class it back to me as soon as you've removed your smelly grundies from it!

I'm in Shepperton TW17...have a play with Google Maps and see if it's worth a blat round the '25 or if not then I can get it in't post to you.

Any idea where I can order a KTM specific Gobi frame in this country at all? Ive only approached my KTM dealer and he was having to get everything in from Austria! They weren't gonna place the order till tmrw evening so luckily all I have to do is cancel, no deposit paid. Just seems a bit mad to be ordering the fitting kit from Austria .... well perhaps not actually since the trouble Big Bad Vader may have to go to if able relay the thing! What an angel! Thanks man, if you do get to Rykas before I get a chance to get to Shepperton then bloomin superb!!

All Hepco & Becker stuff in the UK comes in through Motobins. Give Peter the parts guy there a call and he should be able to help.

Hey Chad! Thanks dude. No end of help here Well which ever will be easiest really. I'm working quite alot from today till I leave (on the 23rd May, back 3rd June) so it's just finding the time to take a trip out to collect! Thats really good of you all. And thanks Robster, I've just ordered the bracket from KTM so should recieve that sometime next week with any luck
