Okay - I'm getting a new bike and the AT has to go. A dealer has offered me a trade in - but I don't like his numbers.
I haven't got a photo yet but:
52 plate - registered Jan 2003
50K miles on the clock.
MOT until Nov.
Just got new OEM fuel pump (I know)
New front tyre (Tourance),
Same on the back - good for another 5K I reckon
Chain and sprockets done about 2-3K
Fehling engine bars
Orion top box - 40 ish litres - looks like would fit 2 helmets but not tested that theory.
Centre stand.
Datatool alarm.
the downside:
Needs new front disks.
The front left caliper is sticking a bit - the pin is slightly bent, its enough to stop the front wheel freewheeling. As a result I am only drving short distances right now.
This is very recent - I just don't have the time to do anything about it.
Also the little 'parking' lights in the headlights have been removed - inc the wiring. Honda said the part was on back order - and I haven't chased them about it. This may need to be replaced before the MOT.
Its had a couple of low speed spills (ice at walking speed) which you can see on the engine bars and the bar ends. Small damage on one pillion foot rest - but its still usable.
Tank and plastics are fine.
Its been outside and ridden in all weathers for the last two years that I have had it. So there are touches of rust, but nothing serious.
In all its generally been a good runner but needs a bit of TLC - in the right hands its got years left in it. Just not in mine - I know my limitations.
Extras:
Most receipts from the last two years
Haynes manual
Spares - after market front sprocket, rear pads, rear bulb, magnetic sump plug, couple of sparks.
Slime for tubed tyres - won't need as going tubeless.
All reasonable offers considered, will try to post pics tomorrow.
