    Wanted: Shorter Rear Indicators

    Hi All,

With my new panniers (pics coming soon) I need to get new indicators as the current ones are too long and have to be slightly twisted upwards when I put on the panniers.

Does anyone have a shorter set of indicators for an @ RD07A or can someone post up some links to ones that will work if they know of some?

Can any indicator set be used? Are indicators generic?

    Cheers,
    Slanty

    Slanty,

You can put a spacer where the indicators are attached to the sub frame..which pushes the indicators in a bit... this allows the heads of the indicators to clear the panniers.. i did this on my T/T's and works perfectly..

    hope this helps...

You can cut a ring of the rubber off and glue the two bits back together, covering them a with a bit if black masking tape.

Just make sure you don't cut through the wires on the inside.

Ayup Slanty, i had the same issue and i didnt fancy moving my exsisting indicators and leaving holes or cutting / gluing, so i opted to motrax winkers, from demontweeks. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/produc...E&pcode=MTXDW1

They cheap and easy to fit, lots of colour combo's too. They get my vote.

Sorry for not replying sooner... Thanks for all the responses.

I'm going to try using spacers to move the indicators, Thanks again for the suggestion.

    Cheers,
    Slanty
