1998 RD07 Black and Gold WITHDRAWN. NO LONGER FOR SALE (WHEN WILL I LEARN)
Couldnt sell it in July had loads s of interest but couldnt let it go. Like it too much but need to get rid of my AT and a FJ1200 1994 to make way for the BEAST of Bavaria.

re Upholstered Seat (Very Comfortable just did the lakes no numb bum)
Oil change, Oil Filter (Hi Flow) change, K@N filter added, Brake fluid changed, spark plugs replaced, all at 36221 miles
Laser Pro Exhaust
SW Motech Centre Stand
Front and Back brake pads fine but also have replacement disk pads included in the sale
New Mirrors
Lots of Stainless Steel Bolts and nuts added to replace usual chocolate/ corroded ones.
MOT until November 12th 2008 (changed)
Tax until November 30th 2008 (Changed)
Polished sump guard

Usual slight pitting on wheels, and some usual rubbing-corrosion where lacquer lifted on crank case, engine covers etc , very small ding in sump guard.
Also exhaust header protector off (I have it but nuts snapped so needs a spot weld)
Overall good condition . Runs sweet

I have spent quiet a bit of time working on the bike, little bits here and there all add up.

Excellent Condition Bike
Actual mileage this morning is 36658 (I put 37,000 on the posting as I am still using and enjoying the bike)
Road Tax runs out 30th November 2008
MOT November 12th 2008

The luggage rack has a couple of scratches as expected from use.

Just to add not surprisingly I have the Haynes workshop manual, but also the original log book, the owners manual and the Honda Service Manual , all hunted down on ebay, all good original condition. Plus past MOT certificates. Couple of viewings and a couple of offers close.
If I can get £2300 ono including manuals etc then I am happy.

Ideally would like to sell this week or will part-ex it for my new BMW GS1200

Im in a quandry now.
Test ride last week on 2008 R1200 GSA ,3hrs not sure.......... Liked the fact it was big though. Seat just a little too high.

Seat adjustable, not as commanding as the GSA.

Maybe my expectations are too high. I was expecting to be blown away and I wasnt. Couldnt help thinking !!! Ok what exactly am I paying £8000+ for potentially on a new bike compared to the AT?

Both GS's gearbox clunky, seemed to be a lot of vibration on both bikes. Brakes excellent, overall good handling. Need to think more on this...
