    Aprilia Tuareg Wind 600

I'm afraid I've got to admit defeat on this.

Bought last year as a Green Laner/ Winter runabout and something for me to tinker with and slowly restore to its former glory whilst learning along the way. That just hasn't happened due to a new house needing lots of work and many other factors.

So unfortunately the bike is just sitting there unused and she has to go.

    1991 J Reg.

    23874 km (14,000 miles approx)

562cc Single Cylinder Rotax Engine, 5 speed gearbox.

    Kick and Electric Start

    New battery.

Currently SORN and the MOT expired in September

The bad bits: Bike will not currently start on the starter. I'm pretty sure it will start on the Kick, but I've never been able to do that from day 1! I just don't have the time, equipment or skills to tinker and figure out what's wrong.

The bike is 17 years old and has been used on and off-road during that time and as such is by no means a "minter"...but then she's no "munter" either! It's a great looking bike that with a little TLC in the right hands will be fantastic. The grin-factor of riding this bike is what made me snap it up in the first place.

There are a number of spares to go along with the bike, a set of Renthal handlebars (yet to be fitted), spare rear mudguard, pillion footpegs, gasket sets, original indicators etc etc.

    Offers around £600

Shame she has to go Rob .

    I had this bike before Robster and the following work was done;

Forks rebuilt, new seals and oil.
Engine serviced, new oil and filters+plugs.
    New wheel bearings F+R.
    New exhaust.

Great bike and fun to ride. Superb Rotax engine..

If I had somewhere to put it I'd have it back in a flash. .

Another pic (not Robs bike, but you get the idea )

    Hi Rog

the seat height (at its lowest point) appears to be 90cm and the pedal to ground height is 40cm...which would mean the seat to pedal height is 50cm.

Hope that helps. If you want to come and look/have a sit on it then you know I'm only down the road.
