For Sale: E52 Givi Top Box with Africa Twin Mounting Plate, Brake Light Kit and Backrest

Hey All,

I have a Givi E52 Maxia Monokey Top Box, mounting plate, brake light kit and Backrest that I am selling because I have bought aluminium panniers and no longer need it (and I’ve got my eye on a few bits from Rugged Roads that I need money for).

The box is in good condition with some marks and light scratches but nothing major. There are 2 keys for it and it comes with the Givi mounting plate for an Africa Twin and a preinstalled and fully working brake light kit. The backrest is also very comfortable for a pillion so my girlfriend tells me

The box can hold two full face helmets. If you come for collection, I will show you how to connect the lighting kit (it's very simple when you know how).

It’s £110 for the lot with free postage.

You can buy a brand new one for £180 but then you need the plate and the extras so i suppose it's not too bad a price, i have one of these already and can certainly say they are a good top box, i'm sure it will sell.

Yep, you can buy a new Top Box for £180 but the other bits all add up too. I looked around to find the cheapest prices I could for each part and the mounting plate was £40, the backrest £25 and the lighting kit was £30, so to buy all the stuff new is at least £275.

I really like the looks of that stop light mind, mine does not have it but i wonder if would be able to buy one and fit it in? Just been looking on the net and yeah they are about £30 to buy so thats a really good price.

If you ever decide to sell the the parts seperately i would be interested in the light but i'm sure it will sell to be honest.

Hey Craig,

The lighting kit is well worth it , it is easily installed and is very effective without being any kind of obstruction in the box. I'd really recommend it if you are considering it, I think it's called an E97 kit. It's well worth the £30!

I don't think it would be a good idea for me to sell the top box and accessories separately as I have already installed it and don't want to damage the waterproof seal around the lights.
