    £1,250 RD07

Hi all, I have been invited to buy well-specced 1994 AT for £1,250 on fleabay. I bid for it and the winning bidder didn't pay, but in the meantime I've sorted myself out so I don't now want it. I seem to have some sort of priority now so if anyone wants item no 190314504564 at that price then let me know and I can buy it on your behalf.

If not, presumably the auction will run again so you might get it cheaper still. Or you might not...

    The bike is in Croydon.

Hmmm, selling on behalf of a "friend" eh?

Why cannot the "friend" put it up on ebay then?

    Very low price too.

Bit suspicious if you ask me.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

Hi Tony, I agree it's cheap (no reserve!) but the description indicates the bloke knows the bike well (i.e hasn't nicked it). Looks straight enough, too.

Yeah, but still very suspicious of putting it up for a "friend". If you do go for it, take some BIG friends of your own when you go to collect it.

Just checking around the ebay page and had a look at the sellers feedback. All the latest comments are from sellers NOT from buyers - comments such as "Good buyer, prompt payment, valued customer, highly recommended." and "Thank you for an easy, pleasant transaction. Excellent buyer. A++++++".

    Very few comments from buyers.

    Just my thoughts.
