    Re: radiator

The 600 and 650's do have different radiators, unfortunately. I presume that you've tried all the usual places, searches on ebay and Google?

How bad is the radiator? Even quite severely mangled items can be rebuilt by a specialist radiator repair place - and usually a lot cheaper than buying a replacement.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

If only that were so. Just been quoted £245 to renew the core as against £269 for a new one.
Now reduced to a Peugeot estate and a bicycle with a trailer on it.

Well.. I was in Glasgow for a week and took the radiator to Star Radiators, they phoned me a few hours later having tested and fixed the radiator for £36.00. I've not fitted it yet but they said it should be fine, they even repainted the whole thing to make it look like new. So all is well that ends well.

    That is a good result.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Transalp 650 2002 radiator

We're looking for a replacement radiator for an ailing Brian: Transalp 650, 2002 model. Apparently the 700 model has the same radiator, but confirmation of this would be useful. If anyone has one to sell, we'd be happy to collect within a 150 mile travelling distance or therabouts from Leicestershire.
