Well done Robster i think you may be getting hooked give that bmw a service as well they are pretty simple to work on , I'm am engineer but everytime i rebuild a engine and it starts i'm beaming like chesire cat does me everytime time

i used to do trials riding, and the throttle on a trials bike needs to be very responsive,i had same problem with throttle not returning. sorted it out by sliding throttle barrel off and sprinkle some graphite powder on there then slide throttle back on, that would sort it out!!
can usually buy it from a good hardward store, i got mine from a locksmith type shop, good as it wont attract dirt or dust
