Well !!! after a lot of helpful advice on here I decided to go mad and bought myself a 2000 W plate DRZ400s with 5000 miles.

It has be "used for it's intended purpose" which is what I'm going to do with it, some minor plastics scrapes as expected, but basically solid and sound, a wee bit of minor deformation on the rads from use but no leaks and the fans works OK.

New Acerbis plastics ordered.

She came with a 14 litre plastic tank , with the original steel jobby in a box, a DEP pipe and original , alloy bash plate, Renthal bars, brand new Maxxis fore and aft, rim locks and a box of spare - filters - pads - gaiters

Quite chuffed really, I had a wee play yesterday but need to get some serious training before I do damage !!!!!

Welcome aboard - yours it the same vintage as mine 2000 W
Mine also has a slightly bend rad as a fell off over a rocky section a couple of months ago and the rad took a hit. If it's only slight then it's nothing to worry about.

Yes I know - I been a bit lax on the pics front with this one !! pics coming soon - I forgot to take pics of how she looked with the tatty plastics on compared to how I got her looking now.

If anyone has sensitive eyes get the shades looked out - because the Acerbis plastics are BRIGHT !!
