Angry V-Strom DL650 Technical help?

Hey guys,
can someone please give me some advice on something. My bike slid out from under me, on an ice patch, after I left for work. Only minor damage, thank god for the engine guards, but now it won't start. I have power and when I turn it on and off there's this rapid clicking and then it stops. Does anyone have any ideas? Your help would be greatly appreciated

Rapid clicking normally means that there's not enough power in the battery to turn over the starter motor, the battery voltage drops and the solenoid releases, then voltage goes back up and the solenoid engages and you end up with the rapid clicking.

As it's been on it's side check the battery electrolyte level also give it a good charge before trying again

Thanks for the help guys managed to find the problem. It was a break in the circuit from the clutch to the ignition circuit and it is all good to go now. Now all I need is this bleeding snow and ice to disappear, I've already slid off once. Live life with the throttled pinned guys!!

I was going to suggest you check the sidestand proximity switch was not bent / broken - but it sounds like you got to the problem - simmilar prognosis safety cut-out wiring issue.
