I would have to say my little MIG welder, had it years, most of the time it sits in the corner collecting dust, but when I need it, it's never let me down.

Should get around to learning how to use one of these sometime. Haven't done any welding since my apprenticeship, more years ago than I care to admit, and then it was only big feck-off arc welding and gas (brazing). Mind you, the gas cutting was fun.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

when the new fangled plasma cutters came out . i took great pleasure in prooving that if thee was an adept with the gas axe you could cut just as sweet and neat as the plasma , god i used to love that tool

the added benefit was filling balloons with the acetylene with some bell wire inside attached to a pp3 battery, made many of the lads ****e themselves in the tea room with that resulting bang

At the moment I would say my buzetti tyre levers, they've had plenty of use in the past couple of years

and anyone who has KTM will probably confirm that it's pretty cool to get a bottle opener in the toolkit

My favourite tool is the one that I don't need to use. Unfortunately not many of my tools are my favourite at the moment...

Oh man, I could cry. I lost my entire tool collection when I was about 26 (so thirty odd years now), and my then girlfriend left the boot of my old MG roadster unlocked. Years followed with me thinking "I wish I still had that x or y."
