    EXHAUST/SCREEN

I've just bought a 54 TA and I want a new exhaust/ screen for it.. I've been looking at an ARROW exhaust any sugestions? Also I need a higher screen to stop the wind blast into my chest, what is a good screen to fit..

I have a powerbronze touring screen. Im happy with it. I get a little buffeting round my head but it does help keep the visor clean. I did swap back to try the standard honda screen, as a comparison, but as you say you get the wind blast in your chest. As will all higher screens there is an increase in wind noise, but ear protection is pretty much mandatory any way.

Cannot help with exhausts but there are plenty of guys on here with aftermarket ones. Your not going to make the bike much louder though without loosing the sub chamber.

    Since 2001 we've had :

    TA51 HHH
    TA02 HHH
    TA52 HHH
    TA03 HHH
    TA53 HHH
    TA04 HHH
    TA54 HHH
    TA05 HHH
    TA55 HHH
and the 06 reg is coming soon (March i think).

ok. i thought he had meant the year, like '94 or something and had just mis-typed it.

Hi, I've got a Nuvo screen fitted, superb, much better than the tall Honda screen, which gives a lot of buffeting. I'm 6'1"ish.

If you're after a bit fruitier exhaust chop the subchamber off and get it plated up, improved fuel consumption and throttle response (esp. below 5500rpm) and deeper, fruitier (not NOISY) exhaust note.

Personally I love the trademark "twin toilet roll" tail pipes.

I see Arrow offer a silencer which fits directly to the honda pipework or a full system

Really like the Arrow box on my 600TA (pic in Not so silent silencers post...) There was a dark tinted taller screen on this TA when I bought it but there's no name, not brilliant though... so don't get one of those

Hi, got it with the bike!
I think Wheeliebin said (in a previous post) that M&P do them.

As for pic's, errm, bit of a sore point. Yup got plenty of photos on my own comp, wich for reasons beyond me doesn't seem to like connecting to the net

There may be a pic of my bike and screen (black Alp) on the Lakes rideout (summer) or the ill-fated Lakes trip 27 Dec.

    I HATE computers. It's official.
