after fitting a staintune can I was disappointed to find out that it sounds very similar. It has a bit more power but I could have got that through modding the original. Next is the sub chamber mod

Even with the baffle out? My BSM can sounds the same as stock with the baffle in, but if you ditch that then it's a whole different aural ball game!
the small restrictor has been take out and will never go back in. I did however start the bike with no tail pipe on, that was good to hear the real power of the engine
It will be louder without the sub-chamber![]()

I've done a before run (all standard).
Haven't actually got round to the subchamber removed run (otherwise st'd). Hopefully doing it week on Sat.
Also going to do a run with subchamber removed and homemade foam air filter.
I'm hoping to improve consumption rather than power output, don't fancy going into carb work tho as the bike's are well carburated as stock.
Carburation "feels" fine with subchamber removed, dyno will reveal all![]()
Phil
As and when I get the printout's, could someone scan them and post on the forum for me, for the benefit of all.
