Got to agree, if you ar going to spend that much look on fleabay for a lazer pro duo or the like, I have just fitted one as my original exaust had been butchered, ( some on had cut the baffles off a the first flange, so the wee chrome cans were just mounted to the single flange ) , it did improve the sound, but had an aweful flatspot... thats now gone and the bike look and feel better

    cheers

Hmm..... the more I look at that, the more I think that I wouldn't get away with it on my bike. I've got givi plastic panniers that extend back quite far (the standard indicators used to get pushed backwards by the cases), and I think the exhaust would melt 'em unless the oulet was a bit further back than that one.

Mebbe I'm just gonna have to get that Scania stack pipe fitted

I think that the previous owner of my TA had panniers fitted.

I've just taken the rack mounted adapters off the bike and put the rear indicators back on the bodywork.

I've got 2 brackets, 2 bolts and two extension wires sat around doing nothing now.

It's not the indicators I'm worried about though - I've put shorter indicators on so the panniers clear them.

It's the panniers themselves melting through being so close to the exhaust - or if not melting, then at least heating the contents more than is ideal....
