    Varadero Wheels......will they fit transalps?

Does anyone know whether either varadero wheel will fit a Transalp?

No idea, I'd of thought the 1000cc wheels would be too wide, but the 125cc version rear ?

125 is about right 2.75 x 17 but the disk is only 220mm

Hi, Did you ever take your investigations further? I like tubeless tyres and my first thought was cast ali wheels. I am also wondering about those spoked wheels that take tubeless tyres. Anyone have any information?

Only BMW's have cracked the tubeless on the spoked wheels. This is the way the spokes attach to the outside of the rim or something.

What tyre are you trying to mount? If its a road tyre get the BT45's, they take an inner tube no problem.

I never found any wheels that would fit. I wanted some that didn't corrode.......

I think the Aprillia Caponord has a similar set-up to the BMW (no shaft-drive though)

Moto Guzzi also have them. I am sure you could get some tubeless rims fitted to TA hubs - but at what price

I will enquire of some of the smaller wheel builders.
