Arai Tour X

Sooooo glad I found this site. I'ts nice to know there is one place , albeit the net, I'm not the only one with a TA. 'Was the only one with a TA at Ace Cafe's Honda bike day yesterday. I'd rather think we ("Vickey Moonlighting" and me) were the only ones not enjoying ourselves on our honeymoon at Salisbury plains yesterday rather than beiing one of the few who own a TA. I did join the HOC and hope to meet some more of you there.

Upon a recent visit to my local Hein Gericke, a bloke from up north told me if I buy any Arai helmet I get a second item for 1/2 price. I'm looking for a partner who also whant something from Hein. I'm after a Tour X helmet and if we go in this together we can get any plain colour for £224.25. The cheapest new Tour X I've seen so far was £250. This is a deal!!!. Please let me know if you are also looking for something to the value of £300 from Hein.

Just to say I bought a Arai Tour X a few months ago and I think it is a pretty good helmet although at times the peak catches a gust of wind and nearly rips your head off!

Thanks for the info. I was slightly worried about this issue. I think it also depends on how tall you are and the screen you have on. I'll try a couple combi's and hopefully sort it. It's a very cool helmet though. Thanx again.
