Tyre pressure Owners Manual vs Workshop Manual

    Transalp 06
The owners manual says 29 psi on the front & 29 (or 32) on the rear
The workshop manual says 29 on the front and 41psi on the rear!

After riding 800km's over the weekend My rear is looking a lot more chewed in the centre than before the weekend. The tyre is over half worn and it has only done 1800 km's. In retrospect I was lucky I didn't try and crank it over too hard!

Has this been noticed by anyone else?
Does anyone know what the correct pressure should be?

I thought it was 29 front and rear with stock Trailwings?

I run 29f/32r with Tourances (as per their website).

    29 & 29 sounds logical...
it would also explain how come I managed to flatten the centre in 2 non-stop rides of 400kms...
overheated middle and voila rapid loss of tread!
Ooooh am I pissed at honda now. I'm glad it was a bit damp on my ride otherwise I would have been cranked over a tad more, and with the > pressure skip skip ouch...

Might it be worth writing to someone at the Honda corp. Death Star (I like the idea, nicked from www.motogpnews.com, that Honda is like the evil empire in Star Wars ) that they've got it wrong?
