    One thing led to another...

Over the weekend just gone I got the idea to give my bike a super deep clean to remove all the Salusbury dust gathered. I only meant to take a couple of covers off and reach for the rest. Before I knew she was naked, no battery, no under seat storage, filter housing out I mean everything. Only the mechanics and wiring was left.

I then also took this opportunity to adjust the suspension. Feels a lot more positive now.

What a pelava to get it all off and on. Just imagine you are stuck in some deserted off road location with water in the engine.......this means undoing most of the front fairing, removing the tank and air filter box and now you're ready to remove a plug to get the water out. Needless to say I've now formed a stronger bond with her but am still slightly concerned about the one bolt I have left. There were no rattles today and it's the type that holds a cover on. Iamb slowly paging through the Haynes Manual....'Let you know when I find it.

If anyone is interested in detailed pics of this operation/naked bike, let me know and I'll mail them to you.

This is perfectly normal with this type of dismantling. The clinking of your spanners has simply attracted the attention of the "nut & bolt fairy" who has left you an extra. Used to be called the "oil fairy" in the days of brit bikes - did a similar job then, just with oil, every night.

Hold tight. Will get a pic of it on here and we can all guess where it's missing from. I will buy the winner breakfast at the Ace Cafe.
