Chain kit - where do I get one from?

I am looking for a chain & sprocket kit for my 94 TA. Can anyone recommend a brand and supplier please?

    Cheers

Might be worth a phone to the local Honda dealer or David Silver, a genuine Honda C&S kit for a 650 came in at a reasonable £95.

Ordered a DID gold X ring from M&P in the end with pattern rear and genuine front sprocket, a bit more expensive but hopefully a better chain.

C&S kits are often available from ebay cheapish, dunno what the quality's like.

DID X ring, I’ve had one on my 94 for the last 10k miles, and I’ve adjusted it 3 times, I do have a Scottie which helps but I do think it’s a good chain and it’s reasonably easy to fit without special tools.
I helped a friend to fit an “X-Gear” chain ( I’ve never heard of them before or since ) and it had the tightest fitting side plate on the joint link that I’ve ever seen. It took us ages to figure out a way to squeeze it on, the standard vice grips or vice trick just wouldn’t do it. The other thing was that although it was an X ring chain the joint only had O rings! If you’re getting it via mail order make sure you get the proper joint link as well. Twice I’ve been delayed because I’ve been sent a spring link!
Don’t rule out the genuine Honda version kit. Years ago I got a (standard non o ring) chain for a Suzuki and later found out that I could have got a genuine Suzuki O ring for less. The advantage of the genuine article is that they are almost always endless and don’t have a soft joint, it does mean taking off the swingarm but that isn’t that much hassle.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/REGINA-Chain-k...QQcmdZViewItem if you want an Regina 'O' ring chain and sprox, which in my estimation is good enough and I used these on my old Dominator and only adjusted it after 2000 miles, and not by much. I put an 'X' ring chain and sprox on, but cannot see what the difference is? I have heard that 'x'ring chains are stronger but wear quicker than a well lubed 'O' ring (depending how you ride......)
