    Clock

Can anybody recommend a good clock for my bike. I have a '97 Transalp so it doesn't have the OEM clock that the 650 has. Preferably, I want a clock that's illuminated.

    cheers

£6.99 waterproof watch from Argos used to do me proud on my old bikes...until the luxury of the Twin and the Vara with the built-in ones! Take the strap off, bit of velco on the back and another bit on your yoke or wherever and Robert's your mothers brother.

Also had another bit of Velco on my key fob that I could stick it to if I was off the bike and it looked like the sort of area "yoofs" might have it away.

Spent double that money on an Oxford one before hand, which lasted about 4 months one winter before I discovered that it was only "showerproof". What good's that on a bike?

    Try a push bike 'Trip'
I use a Cateye Velo 5. Display time and if you extend the wires It could be used as a Trip. Pigugly sorted his and it works upto 80 mph.

Mine looks great and has been out in some great weather right through the winter.
