    Cross pollenation

Talking as a dedicated Transalp-ophile, I often have a gander on the XRV forum and see what's going on.... though obviously discussions about broken fuel pumps, obselete models, dicky trip computers and horrendous fuel consumption bore me senseless, I do find their banter entertaining! Even to the point of tempting me away from my perfect Transalp.......... NOT!

    cheers
    Rob

    Each to their own.

Does Sir want the GM, steroid induced monster Vara - giants only need apply.

Or our 'shell suit' version, the AT - but look after the fuel pump, the oil cooler and buy a cushion.

Or does Sir want the very essence? Good on back lanes and M-ways, NEVER breaks and has a comfy seat - the TA - the original. So practical, some say it's decended from the horse.

If none of the above suit Sir we have here what appears to be a Scrapheap Challenge reject from Germany, which starts at £9 grand.

(Only joking of course, before anyone gets their knickers in a twist!)

No denying the Transalp's a good bike and a good deal lighter than some of the AT's, etc, not currently on my shopping list, but I could be tempted one day maybe.

If it's banter you're after just join in the Chatter section, that's where most of the garbage is talked, much of it started by your very own Mabel and Wee Jack.

My bike's a bit of a hybrid anyway (or it will be when it's all back together again)

Oi I do occasionally contribute things that are not garbage.

The rubbish stuff usually comes after a few pints or a particuarly blonde day.

I didn't expect both of you to get back so quick, that must have been a particularly good wind up.
