I am sure loads of guys (and girls....mabel), will be along with advice on their faves. At the moment i have Avon Road Riders front and rear, good in both wet and dry, but don't over inflate the front, gets very skitish at speed if you do, i have a 130 on the rear rather than the standard 120, hasn't noticibly slowed the steering down, clearance is still massive on all sides

THere has been quite alot of discussion on here about tyres, I had Distanzers and Bridgstones. Not really had any major problem with either. Both reasonably priced.

Do a forum search for tyres and you will come up with loads

A few years ago when money was tight I fitted a pair of Kings tyre to a laverda it was about 1/2 the price of anything else and to be honest I never had any complaints about it wet or dry and it didnt seam to wear at all

dont nock the chep budget tyres they have come along way since the plastic tyres of the 70s
