Bars are on....I'm going to lie down !

Well, the TT bars are on the TA & what a poxy task that was ! Many thanks to Clancy & the rest for pics & moral support. I am hopeless/hapless at the best of times.....& this was not the best of days.

Even with the extra pics etc I still managed to undo the wrong bolts on TWO occassions !

Thankfully, now they're on & all secured, they look very

Mabel....you & your piccies !!.....IF the sun shines, I'll get her out & take some tomorrow, but she's NOT coming out in the wet !

I took some throughout the fitting.....dropped off a bit as the job got more difficult ( & I got more 'tetchy' !!), but I'll see how they came out & may be able to put together a fitting guide to rival that bl**dy awful one they supply.

Which pannier bars did you opt for & how much & what were they like to fit &....., I'm still undecided on which route to go, so would be interested to see / hear.

Well done mate. I undid one wrong bolt too, but all in all it wasn't as bad as changing the plugs on a v12 Jag . Glad you got it done. Yeah, they do look good eh?

You are quite right I do like my piccies, I put Givi pannier bars on which were a bit fiddly and Mr M had to move the indicators and make a bracket to fix them below the topbox plate. Looks the dogs dodahs now though

Have to be a bit more careful filtering now.

There is NO chance of her coming out of the Garage today !......I did do a Ride Out on the Norton this morning, for the sake of bolstering the numbers, around the North Cotswolds with 8 other hardy souls, but the Dommie is 'oily rag'....( WET oily rag !! ) so it doesn't matter too much.

I'll do some pics for certain this week as soon as we get a nice couple of hours. A nice ride up onto the Cotswold Escarpment at Cleeve for an imperious backdrop
