Does anyone have any expierence of the MRA vario screen on a TA650 ?, I'm running with a standard screen and lowered seat at present but still get a fair bit of buffetting.
Tony.

Great thing, provided you take a bit of time to set set it up properly.![]()
Depends what you mean by buffetting?
If it's noddy dog syndrome then the spoiler should allow adjustment to move the airflow elsewhere.
However if you mean wind noise, then in my experience any higher screen will make wind noise worse.
Mine does, but it has other advantages so I stick with it.
Recommended. I have had a MRA Vario fitted for the last 2800 miles on my '06 TA. Definately much better for my 5'11 height than the standard screen. Windblast is deflected upwards towards my helmet but the 'lip' makes the airflow very smooth. Smooth to the point of not baing able to notice it at all against the helmet. Wind noice is about the same as the standard screen. The Vario is well made and fitting is easy.

Update on the MRA Vario Touring screen - The adjustable deflector works very well. At 70mph noise is greatly reduced (several dbA's for the techies), helmet buffeting gone, and all round, a pleasurable ride. I also noticed a reduction in rain falling on my visor and no pinging of flies on my helmet. The setup trial took about 15 minutes and if there are any variations to this I will report back.
I am 5'8" and use a low seat, Shoei MultiTec Helmet. Screen OK at 112kph+
