    Baglux tank cover

Got me a tank cover via ebay, but I am struggling to get a good fit. Not least beacuse I am missing one of the little clips that hold the side strap to the tank - see sale/wanted forum.

Any tips on fitting?, in particular where has anyone routed the headstock strap? One mine it needs a downward pull to get the cover fitting closely, but the only place to put the strap pulls the cover forwards and off the tank.

    Hi Austin,

The Baglux covers do take a little time to mould to the shape of the tank, having said that, I never had any problems with fit.

The front strap goes under the headstockto the rear of the bottom head bearing, the rear strap fits round the rear part of the tank, behind and below the mounting bolt - this stops the harness slipping foward.

I ended up trimming a little material from around the filler cap as the cutout in the harness goes slightly oval after a while, making refitting a pain.

May see ya at HU anyway!

Hi Phil, I ended up stitching an extra bit of webbing to the headstock strap as i decided it was too short. Also put in a clip so fitting / unfitting will be a doddle now. Filler area is a good fit on mine.
