fitting an @ handlebar on a 1995 transalp

Hmmm I thought lots of people put africa twin handlebars on their bikes but i cannot find much about it online.
I am told that an AT handlebar makes the transalp more comfortable for long distance riding: so I am thinking of buying one. They're not expensive at all.
I expect it should fit on my 1995 transalp, and the gold handlebar will match my gold coloured rims.

What do you guys think: is it a bad move?

You can buy an alloy type from Renthal that will be stronger and damp out more vibes. It will also be the same height and width. I have used the same pair of Renthals on my last two ATs and sold the originals to someone on here (Lootch I think).
