    spark plug removal

HELP!!!!!!! i'm getting very frustrated at not being able to change a spark plug on my 99 transalp 600. Got three done no problem but can't get out the fourth. The one that sits behind the radiator at the front. I've removed side panel and radiator to gain access to the cylinder, i can see the plug (which looks like hasn't been changed for a while) but can't get a socket onto it. PLEASE HELP!!!

Do you have the proper Honda plug socket, it's in at a similar agle to the hidden one on the rear cylinder. It's doable with a little patience.

Yep, it's a bugger if you haven't got the Honda plug spanner.... or a Dad who has a lathe that can machine a shamfer on a normal plug socket. Definitely worth buying the original item from David Silver.

You can take it out without moving anything other than the side panel...................

if you've got the honda plug spanner

    get one

best thing since sliced bread (actually it's better).
