    Transalps at the National

Just wondered how many Transalps would be at the National Meet next month

Just checked with the "Bitter Book of Records*" UK office who believe the largest gathering of Honda Transalps in the UK is a mere six.

Will this event be a new UK record of these rare beasts ?

I'm still unconfirmed at the mo

    Re: Transalps at the National

I am going. At last year's national there was a massive contingent of ONE from the TA side of the family (yours truly).

See you there. The biggest assembly of TAs I have seen is 3 - Me, Pigugly and Paul24ftlb.

    Collective nouns for Transalps:
    • A Peak of Transalps
    • A range of Transalps
    • A pass of Transalps (my favourite)
    • A summit of Transalps
    getting boring now....
2001 Transalp XLV650. Faithful old friend still chugging away nearly 100,00miles
2007 Varadero XLV1000. Now you're torquing but sadly gone to another forum member. One of the best bikes - period.
Yamaha XT660r - slowly getting it ready for some big adventures

Well, the three XRV rideout / meet ups I've been on Transalps have always outnumbered everything else. However never more or less than three!

.....probably won't make the national though

I read you posting on your journey home from the Honda day EEK! What was the problem with the TA in the end, was it clutch? or cable?
