    Thumbs up First 10000 miles

Last night, while many of you were in various states of drunken stuporiosness in the middle of a field, a lot of you were packing up and saying goodbye to newly met and made riding buddies, some of you were in bed, a few of you were at work, a couple of you were milling with friends and family, and one of you was on a midnight longhaul across the country on a mission to bring the biggest smile ever to a tiny tot that wasn't expecting him home till today - on a quiet unclassified road on the way back from Cambridge with my oldest on the back, my alp, without fuss or ceremony, clicked over it's first 10,000 miles.

Well done Tom, when I commented on my high mileage (29000) on the weekend I was told that it was only just run in

Weird really as on the way to Duxford on Saturday my GPz clicked over it's 50,000 miles whilst going through Baldock Bypass Tunnel.

Congrats, may you be blessed with many more trouble free ten thousands

I do remember feeling the same way when I did it, but can no longer remember when or where it was
