    Transalp 2006 workshop manual

    Hi all

Great Forum been lurking for a while now.

I'm after a workshop manual for a 2006 transalp. I see haynes has one
but it says up to 2002 model only. Also http://www.datamanuals.com has
them as downloads at $15, are these any good? Anyone got any ideas for
    me?

    Help appreciated Phil...........

That's only because it was published in 2002/3. Later models are the same other than a few insignificant differences - don't let it put you off buying one.

I'm using this manual for my 2005 model. You can figure out the minor changes yourself. Believe me, nothing changed between 2002 and 2006 with an oil change, chain adjustment, cleaning brakes, air filter and so on.

I bought the book for 2 simple reason:
*) easier to grasp (think pictures, compare page 39 and 124, yellow notes and so on)
*) easy to lay on the buddie while servicing your bike

    Thanks for your help guys.
I have downloaded a copy but I'm off to buy the book today. I was more concerned by the 2002 model situation.

The electronic thing will be great for the garage, I can print just the pages I need. I can do my reading/research at night with the nice hardback book.

    again thanks Phil..........

Glad to be of some help.
I do agree that a good printed version is always more preferable to the lap top when reeding
    especialy in the little room

My Haynes covers the range from 1987 to 2007 (pub 2008 ) ...... so they are out there. Although,as Sproggy says there are no major differences from 2002.
