    Helmets in the Road

    Just jacked my bike up (again) and I feel save in the knowledge I can now ride over large objects in my path..........like helmets

    doesnt doing that f@~k the whole suspension spring rates like tinkering with the dog bones? ...had the same problem with the xtz and ended having a +20mm damper made, is lifted the bike up so the seat height is 39" and its got 13" clear travel front and rear without the spring rates being trashed.

    No, the 650 TA doesn't have dog-bones, flipping the linkage only alters the shock's bottom mounting point, all other mounts/linkages remain unchanged.
    So it's just the same as fitting a +20mm shock/damper.

    No aware of any other bikes this can be done on.
