Do a search in the forum, most likely lots about it here. Suggestions .. Givi ..motech ... check out ebay http://www.xrv.org.uk/ebay.php

by the way, you need crashbars ... forget your front disk lock and start driving ... crash, Drive a little off road and can't reach the ground ... crash ... and so on,... it takes some getting used to, it is afterall abt. 200 kg with quite high CoG (centre of gravity).

Crash bars will only save radiators - beyond that you're in casualty contracting MRSA and wont care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am sure there is a post here somewhere ... someone had a blue bike with some heavy duty crashbars, like triangels beside the side fairings

Ricky Cross or SW Motech crashbars

Have you seen the graves bars?

You're probably thinking of the Touratech ones, then:

I can't help wondering how strong they'd be if the bike fell over - I'd worry that the bars would bend back into the fairing because the 'fairing protector' part is attached only at the front and bottom. But presumably they tested them.....

Bit pricey at £140 but then you'd expect that from Touratech

Well mine didn't bend in when the bike went down, and that was at 10 - 15 MPH so I'd assume in a straight drop they should be sound.

Above poster reminded me, here is some reviews of various crashbars submitted by owners. They dont give prices, but they are all easily found with a little bit of research.

    Re: Crash Bars for beginner.

Mine has hepco becker bars which consist of a upper fairing guard and lower engine bars. I think police version came with the lower engine guards as standand. I have seen Dutch police transalps have the upper guard installed.
