650 Exhaust Mod

Can't think it does any harm to clean them up if you have the exhaust off. the welds are hard so you need a good grinder in an electric drill. Wear some eye protection if you attemt this, not going to be riding your bike if you you can see.

but what is the Diameter of the port that the exhaust bolts on to?
and do they match up without a pronounced edge
and is the exhaust gasket also of similar diameter
all three parts need to work together

Can you discern any improvement in performance? If so, mine are coming off...

Ah, now you are just teasing us. Which foam filter do you recommend? Is there a good source of carb parts such as 20thou needle washers? What sort of mpg did you see after this work?
