XL700V Hugger

Does anyone know if there is a hugger available for the new Transalp???

Might be worth trying Pyramid. We've had bitz from them in the past and are good quality and are not bad on price.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Did you ever manage to find a hugger for the Transalp 700? Could be useful for the winter months!

I would also be keen to fit one , if I could find a source, espesially as the council are laying about an inch of salt / grit on every road but obviously nothing at all on my road ( it has a lovely laye of ice too )

Anything to try and limit the spread of the salt and grit over my beloved

I don't think it needs one, I've just stripped the back end of mine and there was hardly any grime and no crud on the shock, the linkage was clean too with just a film of road grime. Most bearings were still greased with only 1 being dry and one main swingarm bearing being dry. This is after 10000 miles with plenty of use in the dirt and salt.
