    Crashbars for the 700.......

...... arrived today and were duly fitted. They're the SW Motech bars and were a bit of a fart on to fit (but that could be just me of course) but they're on. One thing I would say if anyone gets these is fit them when there's another human being available to give you a hand (which I didn't have), just to hold the odd spanner etc., it would make things a lot easier.
I'm glad they're on because, as we all know, the zero mph whoopsie club is not what you would call exclusive eh

Crash bars look great ! just about to have the first service on mine, love it !!! alot different to my CB 1300, getting about 50mpg which i think is excellent on a new bike, sure that will improve a bit too.
Can you tell me what type and where you orded the crash bars from ? i think i will have to invest.... Thanks alot, will post some pictures when i work out how to

Aye, they're SW Motech crash bars & I got them from http://www.motorbikesandparts.co.uk who seem quite a nice bunch. (They actually reply to emails!!)
I also fancy the Motech EVO pannier rack & Trax 37 ally panniers but these won't be in until sometime near the end of April so when/if I get sorted I'll post some more piccies.

    Hi Doggy,

How sturdy do the bars feel, recon they will hold up when the bike blows over in the wind or someone reverses into it?

    They look the biz though!
