650/600 wheels. are they the same?

just found rimrot on my bike. see thread below somewhere.

will the wheels from a 650 fit the older 600? just thinking if worst comes to worst and i have to buy a new(secondhand) wheel.

Hi mate.. im not sure about the front wheel of the 650 fitting a 600 but i can tell you for sure the back is a straight swop. I bought my alp from a dealer and didnt realise the rim had rot around the valve. So he had a 650 rear wheel and slipped it in with no trouble.

thats good to know. TA!! the rear rim on mine is starting to "bubble" in one spot so i can keep my eye out for both types of wheel.

does anyone know if a TA rear wheel will fit an AT.i have the same problem and was quoted £250 for a rebuild!
