Question a loud crack on starting up

Just started my 03 TA and they was a loud crack just before it fired !
it runs OK but I just feel it was electrical.
Does anyone have any idea what it could have been ?

My 1998 AT does that same thing. It doesn't run brilliantly at the best of times though so I'm not too fussed (it starts!)

Do you have an after market exhaust? If so, it could be an irritated neighbour taking a shot at you from his window. I get that sometimes...

Yes, My AT (and last 600 TA) does that - it doesn't seem to be anything to be concerned about.
