    Front caliper torque setting

Tried and failed to find the correct torque setting for the front caliper mounting bilts for my 2004 TA. Searched the forum threads and cannot find it in the Haynes either.

I think they should be 27Nm (20lb/ft in real money ), but can someone confirm please?

Ah well, time for a cup of tea.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

    Donmindthatoultorquestuff.

Get a good qaulity 12mm ring spanner and do it up as tight as you can by hand and it'll be grand.

30Nm according to my shop service manual for 2000 - 2004 models. I can send you a scan of the page if you would like for your own peice of mind?

Thanks for the offer Raven, but I found the setting in the Handbook after all.

I mean what a silly place to put it - as if any one is going to look.

Mind you, maybe it was the cup of tea that did it, as I'm convinced that it wasn't there when I first looked.......
