Still only 116 odds in Edinburgh for diesel but yes I have also noticed the traffic has decreased since the fuel panics up here. Getting home on the TA is taking much less time than usual.
Maybe just the bike goes faster on super unleaded I am forced to use now that unleaded has run out in most petrol stations.
Sparky
one of the handy things about being close to irish border (3miles) i just scoot over border and petrol is cheaper and the euro is less than the pound so we pay a lot less for fuel, getting bit more expensive now but still great! most all the filling stations in DERRY closed down years ago!!!
I go to Holland every now and then its ten pence cheaper than here, much the same, fuel stations close to the border are going bust
its a horrible price to pay and by the time it comes to thelongestday its going to be even higher..![]()
but in a sad way i think its needed to get people to think about driving...
its part of the reason why i started riding. its also the reason why im going to sell my 1.6 MX-5 and get a 1.3 Skoda estate... of all the things i want to be blowing my money on.. fuel isn't one of them
£20 to fill my TA yesterdayand it wasn't even empty.
I tell you what, when I signed for the Longest Day trip I didn't think it was going to cost me this much!!!![]()
