    700 screen

I've always got on really well with the standard 700 screen. A problem has started though - flies. The screen deflects them right into the visor just above eye level. I carry around a cloth and spray all the time now.

It just needs an extra little deflector - only a couple of centimetres or so, on the trailing edge of the screen and it would be perfect. Anyone know of a solution before I start butchering pits of plexiglass?

How about loosening the screen mounting bolts & trying to get a bit of adjustment or if that don't work trying some sort of edging strip? It might mess with the air-flow enough to solve the problem.

it needs a type of gurney flap on the trailing edge - only needs to be a centimeter or so

just been out - fly tastic!

first time I've bothered to take the top box off, amazing difference, much more stable and nimble feeling than when there is 10kg of work kit in it!

Have you thought of a universal winscreen spoiler from Touratech?

They are expensive at £65 but it may be a solution to consider.

I've got the Honda High screen fitted now. Its really good even at speed and give enough protection to ride with my lid visor up, " nice when its hot ." It cost £100 but I think worth every penny. The screen is vented at the bottom to allow airflow,. so it cuts through the air and doesn't give any vibs

    Re: 700 screen

cheers for that I'll try the high screen - any idea what its like in the rain - despite all those repellants you can put on your visor, I find with the small screen rain gets on the visor but without enough airflow to make it bead off
