I just fitted a bagster tank harness to my 700 transalp & for some reason the two fitting clips ( near the seat end ) don't seam to be wide enough apart & when i fit the tank bag it sits up off the tank .
Anyone else noticed this ???

Have you bought a Trail bike specific bag, as bagster do two versions of some of their tank bags, a trail version, with narrower fixing clips, and a standard one for road bikes with fkattertanks and less sterring lock to worry about.

i thought allthe bag mounting points were the same , i thinks mines an alpha, it came of my fazer 1000..

Unfortuantly, due to the way a Trail biks tank is shaped, they arent all the same .

If you look here, change the "type" to "Tank bags for Trail Bikes", and it has the specific trail versions of the bag that will fit your bike.

A pain in the ass I know...
