Talking My Bikes good as new thanks to Chad

Just a big thank you going out to Chad who sorted my chain and new sprockets for me tonight. I can't report here what Chad said when he saw the chain but it was something like ''Gosh''

He supervised me giving it an oil change as well

Watching the master at work gave me the confidence to tackle this stuff in the future myself..... maybe

He even cured my squeeking handlebars

The bike felt great on the way home and is running like a new bike

    Fitted:

One DID x-ring chain, 48 back and 15 front sprokets (cheers Stormforce for the headsup on the deal)

    One honda oem oil filter

2.8 litres of Halfords Motorcycle oil ...

    Result:

A fair few quid saved off the upcomming 16k service, a great 2 hours watching (I mean helping ) the maestro at work, and a bike now running as sweet as a nut.

Cheers Chad - you're an absolute star mate

Speaking as one who could best be discribed as mechanically limited I wonder if there would ever be the chance of a service master class for the like of those like me.

Even if it just covered the basic service plus other common jobs I know I'd be happy to travel some distance to increase my knowledge.

    How do other members feel?

I'm up for it - I'd love to have the confidence to be able to do jobs such as brakes, chain etc
