Hi there, jsut wanna brag abt. my latest invention. Bought a Garmin Nuvi 250W, as it was a cheap and good option with European map. Tried ordering some mount from Ram-mount in US, but the postage became same as the cost of the item, so decided to make one myself. Put some pictures below for info. The GPS is for car so no bluetooth, but no problem at all. A little glimps on the screen once in a while and your on the right track. The clamps are D12mm rubberdamped boating clamps in acid free steel. The bracket came from the fitting of a IKEA cabinet and the Disk is original permanent glue Garmin type which came in the box. The bracket is held by suction only, and after a weekend trip in Denmark it has not failed once (not even at 140 km/hrs). The GPS worked very well even in the cities, and compared to a Zumo I believe the graphics and functionality is actually better (although no bluetooth and earpiece). I powered mine from a socket i placed in the fairing, left of the dials.
